Try this: Go into iTunes and select your iPod device. In the General gui screen, check the “Enable disk use” box. Go into My computer (windows) and refresh the screen. When the device shows up, select it, go to the Notes folder. Drag, or copy, the TXT files you wish to be there. Be aware the filess are only readable up to 4096bytes in size, everything else gets truncated by the iPod viewer, so you’ll have to create files of less then 4kB if you have one larger file you would like to read.
