When you burn a CD the OS will ask if you want to burn the disk. This disk in Mac OS is compatible with Mac and Windows.
I do this all the time for my friends that use a PC only. Never had a problem.

If you are using Toast and choosing a Mac only format that will stop you from using it on the PC. You must choose a format that will work on the PC. Burning from Finder should as was already said work on both. Dave
